Description
Bringing Light is created from an image of an Auralite 23 Crystal. Auralite Crystal is said to enhance healing, personal development, and intuition extensively and on many levels, and is said to be balancing for all the chakras......bringing a sense of peacefulness and calm. It is a stone that opens the mind and spirit, recognizing connections between our inner self and our outer life. Auralite offers strength and wisdom as we align ourselves with our true path.
Bringing Light also contains the Sacred Geometry symbol, the Merkaba embedded in it. The Merkaba is a described as a crystalline energy field that is comprised of specific sacred geometries that align the mind, body, and heart together. The Merkaba is thought to enable us to experience expanded awareness, connects us with elevated potentials of consciousness, and restores access and memory of the infinite possibilities of our being.
The Merkaba is a tool that helps humans reach their full potential.
Images of a beautiful, playful fox came to play in this mandala. Fox are seen as power animals/totems throughout the world. Fox is amongst the most uniquely skilled and ingenious animals of nature. Being a night creature, fox is often imbued with supernatural powers. Foxes are usually seen at dawn and dusk. This is the time, when the world of magic and our every day realities cross paths. As fox is an animal of the between times and places, it can be a guide into the faerie realm. Fox has a long past of magic and cunning associated with it. Fox can show us the skills necessary when it comes to handling people. The ability to camouflage can be deduced as being able to take a step back and view an interpersonal situation with detachment. This includes opening up the less obvious senses, such as intuition. Ted Andrews speaks about the fox totem serving as a guide to the faerie realms. This makes perfect sense because of the trickiness of a fox's appearances and disappearances. If you see a fox it may very well be an invitation to communicate with the faeries. The fact that there are 21 different kinds of foxes found throughout the world has great metaphysical significance.
Card 21 in the tarot deck is The World. It is a card that reflects a new world opening up, that the process of creation is beginning. It reflects that the world is growing and shapeshifting itself into new patterns that will be beneficial.
The senses of the fox reveal much about the potential within those who have it as a totem. Its hearing is very acute. The fox also has excellent eyesight. This gives an individual the ability to size people up very accurately. Because of this, it is not unusual for those with fox totems to develop the ability to see "spirit", the fairies and the elves. Foxes are intelligent, dainty, graceful, and light-footed.
Also visible within the mandala, is the butterfly. This animal totem is primarily associated with symbolism of change and transformation. The butterfly is one of the most emblematic totem animals symbolizing personal transformation. If you see the butterfly as your totem or spirit animal, pay attention to the areas in your life or personality that are in need of profound change or transformation. Perhaps, this animal totem guides you to be sensitive to your personal cycles of expansion and growth, as well as the beauty of life's continuous unfolding. An important message carried by the spirit of the butterfly is about the ability to go through important changes with grace and lightness. The butterfly carries messages of powerful transformation, metamorphosis in your life, and personality, Renewal, and rebirth, Lightness of being, and playfulness, Elevation from earthly matters, tuning into emotional or spiritual and connecting to the world of the soul, and the psyche.
In many traditions around the world, the butterfly is a symbol of the soul or soul world. In many ways, the butterfly serves as a metaphor for the soul's spiritual journey. Its metamorphosis represents our own spiritual transformation. We start out as a simple being and learn to function in the world, much like the caterpillar. We crawl along through life in our day-to-day activities, but search for deeper meaning. Eventually we go on that inner journey to get in touch with our inner selves, much like wrapping ourselves in a cocoon. We meditate, pray, read and study spiritual truths. We turn our focus inwards. At some point, we are ready to emerge and share our true essence with the world. Much like the butterfly, we spread our wings and fly. Butterflies represent joy, freedom, creativity and change.
Looking even closer into the mandala, we can see the images of a bat. Bat's wisdom includes shamanic death and rebirth, initiation, viewing past lives, pollination of new ideas, transition, understanding grief, the use of vibrational sound, camouflage, invisibility, ability to observe unseen, and secrets.
Bats help us to release fear and patterns which no longer fits within our pattern of growth. Their spiritual meaning is one of Rebirth, Initiation, and Extra-Sensory Hearing. The Native American animal symbolism of the bat comes from a keen observation of this magnificent animal. These people recognized that the bat was highly sensitive to their surroundings and so therefore was considered a symbol of intuition, dreaming and vision. This made the bat a powerful symbol for Native American shamans and medicine people. Often the spirit of the bat would be invoked when special energy was needed, like "night-sight" which is the ability to see through illusion or ambiguity and dive straight to the truth of matters. The bat is a symbol of rebirth and depth because it is a creature that lives in the belly of the Mother (Earth). From the womb-like caves it emerges every evening at dusk. And so - from the womb it is reborn every evening.
Around the edge of the mandala there is a fairy circle of Violets. The folklore of medieval times thought of violets as protection against evil spirits. Often times the leaves would be used in healing plasters, salves and antiseptics, and as a cure for insomnia and so the flower was associated with healing as well. During this time they were also given as tokens of love and symbols of faithfulness, both because of their lovely smell, and their protective and healing connotations. Violet flower essence is especially attuned to highly evolved and fragile souls, assisting with self-liberation, self-expression and individuation, while retaining the refined and tender qualities of their feminine beauty. The Purple Violet flower remedy bridges the virtues and qualities of the violet with the inner foundation of self worth and courage. This color in flowers is both energizing and spiritual at the same time. When we see violet our eyes open wider - we allow its vibrancy to flow into our aura. This natural reaction opens our spiritual senses and reminds us that we are all connected to an infinitely divine system. Violets are the perfect sentiment that says to someone "you are unique, special, and part of a perfect whole." Violet is also considered a color of royalty and nobility in ancient symbolism. Incorporate violet flowers in your life as a symbol of faith, and a reminder that nobility of the heart is the greatest aspiration. This color relates to the imagination and spirituality. It stimulates the imagination and inspires high ideals. It is an introspective color, allowing us to get in touch with our deeper thoughts. Violet appears in the visible light spectrum, or rainbow, and carries the highest vibration in the visible spectrum.
Violet contains the energy and strength of red with the spirituality and integrity of blue. This is the union of body and soul creating a balance between our physical and our spiritual energies. Violet assists those who seek the meaning of life and spiritual fulfillment - it expands our awareness, connecting us to a higher consciousness. For this reason it is associated with transformation of the soul and the philosophers of the world are often attracted to it.
In the meaning of colors, purple and violet represent the future, the imagination and dreams, while spiritually calming the emotions. They inspire and enhance psychic ability and spiritual enlightenment, while, at the same time, keeping us grounded. Purple and violet promote harmony of the mind and the emotions, contributing to mental balance and stability, peace of mind, a link between the spiritual and the physical worlds, between thought and activity. Violet and purple support the practice of meditation.
The color violet inspires unconditional and selfless love, devoid of ego, encouraging sensitivity and compassion. Violet encourages creative pursuits and seeks inspiration and originality through its creative endeavors. It likes to be unique, individual and independent, not one of the crowd. Artists, musicians, writers, poets and psychics are all inspired by violet and its magic and mystery. Violet is the color of the humanitarian, using its better judgment to do good for others. Combining wisdom and power with sensitivity and humility, violet can achieve a lot for those less fortunate.
Purple has power. It has a richness and quality to it that demands respect. Purple is ambitious and self-assured, the leader. Violet is also the color associated with the crown chakra. Violet is the ray of spiritual mastery. We use the seventh or crown chakra as a tool to communicate with our spiritual nature. It is through this that the life force is dispersed from the universe into the lower 6 chakras. The crown chakra could also be considered the well that intuitive knowing is drawn from.
Throughout the mandala there are 7 Rose Quartz hearts, and the background is created from an image of rose quartz. Rose quartz is one of the most popular crystals in healing, jewelry, as well as feng shui. Famous for attracting and keeping love, rose quartz is also used when it comes to healing one's heart from pain and disappointment. The heart healing properties are the most prominent energy of the rose quartz. No other crystal or stone is as skilled as rose quartz in helping one dissolve painful memories related to love. At the same time, rose quartz is also powerful in attracting love energy, this is why it is extensively used in feng shui cures for love & marriage. It gives inner peace and helps in all matters pertaining to love in all its forms. Rose Quartz opens the heart to love. Rose Quartz represents self love, compassion and unconditional love. Emotionally, rose quartz is used to balance emotions and bring peace and calm. This calm emotional balance brings stress relief and easing of anxiety. All these things carry energies of forgiveness, tolerance, and compassion to the fore, enabling us to see the good in both ourselves and others. Rose quartz is used in crystal healing to heal and release emotional wounds and traumas. Fear, resentments, and anger can be removed. Trauma from abuse, neglect, and lack of love can be healed, by bringing in Divine unconditional love and enhancing our inner awareness of such.
So much intelligence, beauty, power, healing, love and transformation expressed in this mandala.
