This Magenta Twilight Mandala activates the gifts of Divine and Unconditional Universal Love.
Magenta Twilight brings forward and activates the Violet ray of the Crown Chakra and Red ray of the Root chakra to meet and combine to create the Magenta Ray.
This symbolizes the meeting of the very beginning and the very end, and the completion into Oneness. As old energies and patterns end, space is created for new patterns, new ways...and a new world of Universal Love.
Magenta Twilight was created using a photo I captured of a beautiful magenta coloured Lotus at the Singapore Botanical Gardens.
The Lotus flower is regarded in many different cultures, especially in eastern
religions, as a symbol of purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration and rebirth.
It's characteristics are a perfect analogy for the human condition: even when
it's roots are in the dirtiest waters, the Lotus produces the most beautiful
flower.
According to Buddhism, every person has the potential to become perfect
and enlightened, and it is just a matter of time until each human reaches the
light....enlightenment, awakening and Universal Love.
Just as this flower goes through so much before it blossoms, so does the human consciousness before it can reach enlightenment. Without going through the difficult lessons of being human (the mud), a person would never be able to reach higher states of consciousness (the lotus).
The lotus has very strong connections to the spiritual world and is held sacred by many cultures and people around the globe. In Egyptian mythology, the Lotus is believed to represent the (re)birth of the sun, because it blooms by day and closes by night. In Hindu culture, it is said that gods and goddesses sit on lotus thrones.
