Description
"I have called on the Goddess and found her within myself." -Marion Zimmer Bradle
"ReClaiming The Goddess" celebrates Sacred Feminine Goddess Wisdom and was created from an image of a Magnolia Blossom. The symbol for the magnolia flower is beautiful woman. The magnolia symbolizes sweetness, beauty, and love of nature, and has developed over time into a symbol of femininity, nobility, and perseverance. Magnolias are also associated with the life force. The magnolia tree is a symbol of magnificence because of its impressive height and enormous flowers.
Throughout the mandala the sacred geometry symbol Vesica Pisceo is used....
The intersection of two, overlapping spheres, the Vesica Pisces represents;
The joining of God and Goddess to create an offspring, A symbol for Jesus Christ, In art a pointed oval used as an aureole in medieval sculpture and painting, The vagina of the female goddess, The basic motif in the Flower of Life, An overlay of the Tree of Life, The formative power of polygons, A source of immense power and energy, and soo much more. It is also one of the common multicultural Goddess symbols. In Sacred Geometry, the Vesica Piscis is considered to be the source of literally all creation.
"A Woman is the Full Circle...Within her is the power to Create, Nurture and Transform." -Diane Merrychill
In this mandala Epona, the Horse Goddess who in ancient mythology not only protected horses, but also their owners is represented by the beautiful Tareena
Tareena came into this mandala to deliver a beautiful message for all Goddesses....
"As the lead mare, Tareena is the Queen. She leads with grace and beauty. She is equal parts feminine and fierce. She guides us to connect with the power of our feminine energy and gives us a powerful mirror to look into. Becoming aware of our feminine power is the first step in owning and empowering it. " Many thanks to #hillaryschneider of #eponarise for sharing Tareena and her message.
Horse spirit animals are likely to represent your inner strength and driving force in life. A typical symbolism for the horse is one of an animal representing physical strength, vitality, but also our psychological or emotional ability to go on in life. Depending on what this spirit animal means to you, it could symbolize your ability to overcome obstacles in life and pursue your goal no matter what may stand on your way.....Yes!!
The background of ReClaiming The Goddess was created from a beautiful white peony from my garden. Peonies are known as the flower of riches and honor. With their lush, full, rounded bloom, peonies embody romance and prosperity and are regarded as an omen of good fortune because the blossoms of the peony flower is round which symbolizes money. Peonies are said to represent beauty and female fertility as well.
All women are born Goddesses. By undertaking a personal journey to reclaim her true essence, every woman may fully realize the goddess within. We must strip off the layers of shame, guilt, anger, and need, to find our naturally flowing, radiant stream of love, compassion, creative power, bliss, and nurturing within.
As you meditate with this mandala may you remember who you are, and reawaken and step into the power of your given Goddess energy, and use this power to create the life of your dreams.
