Description

"Truth" Soul Mandala was created using an image of a water lily from a pond in my yard....and expresses standing in one's truth and true essence so the True Beauty of the Soul can come forward and be seen.....leading to great Joy.
Water Lillies and Lotus Flowers open in the morning and close again at night. This was probably the reason that the ancient Egyptians saw in them an image of rebirth and regeneration.
The Lotus Flower is a Symbol for Healing, Life, Transformation, Spirituality and Enlightenment. Lotus flowers are also commonly used by those who have undergone hard times and are now recovering. Just like the lotus, they were in the muddy, dirty and yucky foot of the pond, but have now risen to the surface to show a beautiful object of a life full of beauty.
Sekhmet, the Ancient Egyptian Lion-Warrior Goddess�is the bringer of joy, through strength......and above all, she is the protector of Ma'at (balance or justice) and named "The One Who Loves Ma'at and Who Detests Evil". Sekhmet means "The Mighty One," and she was one of the most powerful of the gods and goddesses. Sekhmet is the most well-known of the lioness deities.
Lions usually lived on the edges of the desert, and so they became known as the guardians of the eastern and western horizons, where the sun rose and set. Also represented is Maat...symbolized by the 2 golden winged goddesses at the bottom. Maat was the ancient Egyptian Goddess of truth, balance, order, law, morality, and justice.
The Flower of Life is the modern name given to a geometrical figure composed of multiple evenly-spaced, overlapping circles, that are arranged so that they form a flower-like pattern. It is considered to be a symbol of sacred geometry, said to contain ancient healing and religious value depicting the fundamental forms of space and time. There are many spiritual beliefs associated with the Flower of Life. The Flower of Life is one of the strongest sacred geometric shapes in the world and is excellent for healing and helps one to connect to the Higher Self.
